Children, teaching adults.....

I found the story behind the beginnings of the 'Mobile School' concept and the 'streetwiZe' company very thought provoking. A young entrepreneur has learnt from street kids, boys and girls who survive in rapidly changing environments and experience constant disruption, scarce resources and high competition. The attributes they possess include:

- a positive focus as they look for opportunity

- agility and resilience

- proactive creativity, and

- co-operative competition as they 'play the game'

As a result, he has developed a business consultancy model to enable companies to become more 'streetwiZe', and then re-invests profits in Mobile Schools and their trainers to assist and support street kids through non-formal education projects.

At the core is the shift in mindset: stop looking at the problems and start looking at the opportunities....... an authentic reminder of the impact of having a growth mindset!
